As you move up in the trim levels of the Ford Explorer, you find slight improvements in seat quality until you reach the Limited trim where luxury begins to take hold. However, it is in the seating where the difference begins to shine.

In both the Base and XLT trims the Ford Explorer comes with cloth upholstery. In the Limited trim, the upholstery is a rich leather on both the front and rear rows of seating. Whereas the Base level had a 2-way power seat for the driver, the first two rows of seats in the Limited have an 8-way power seat formation. The Limited has heated seat inserts in the first two rows, and the Base trim only has seat heating for the driver.

Come to Andy Shaw Ford in Sylva and compare the seating for the Base and Limited trims of the Explorer.
